The world is turning!

Look at this photo of mine. Don't you feel dizzy? But that's only because the world is turning -- around me!

Conversation

I've been having conversations with my parents and everybody in the house lately, but today I had a really good talk with my mom. She was trying to teach me how to say dad in my native language and I actually talked back! That made mom sooo happy. Well, you know us men, our job is to make the women in our lives happy...

Floor Gym

There is this thing called the floor gym. I was put on it from time to time. I like the things hanging up there. One day I exercised a little too much on the floor gym. After a while I felt asleep on it. That's the first time ever, according to my parents, that I went to sleep on my own.

Me and my bear

My bear is a good friend of mine, as you can see. What you can also see is my tummy, pretty good size, huh?

I smile a lot these days

I found myself a really friendly guy. I smile at people when they say Hi to me, well, if you say "Hello Baby" to me, you'll get a big smile back for sure.

"Hello Baby!"

This colorful thing in front of me is my piano. I use my fist or feet to play it. After every seven key strokes, the piano will say "Hello Baby!" or "Peek-a-boo!". I just liked the "Hello Baby", so much so that now no matter who says it, I will just give a big smile back to the person. That "Hello Baby" just sounds soooooooo good!

Life can be pretty relaxing

You see, on a sunny Sunday afternoon, I'm not wet, I'm not hungry, I'm not tired, and I'm not fussy. So the entire family is having a great relaxing time... I enjoyed it by practicing my newly-developed expertise: Sucking my fingers...

By the way, I am officially 3 months old today! Ya, 18 pounds and 25 inches later...

When I'm happy, I'm really happy

But my mom and dad know that when I'm not happy, I'm really not happy. Good thing is, they refuse to put a photo of an unhappy me here.

Contemplating

I think a lot, I ponder. You may just see me resting on my mom's shoulder. I'm actually thinking about world peace and all the good stuff. I want peace, man, I don't want to grow up and get in any war. I want peace and love, man, peace and love!

Look at me!

Look how big I am now! This is the first picture of this month I want to share with you. There will be more coming up!

P.S. You know what I've discovered in the past couple of days? My hands are very tasty!!! (Mom and dad told me it means I'm reaching some kind of milestone, who knows what they are talking about...)

News Buzz: AOL to slash payroll by 5,000 employees

[From time to time, I can't help noticing some big buzz out there in the world, I told myself, I'd better make a note of it, otherwise I'll forget...] So this time, AOL, as expected, said Thursday it expects to drop as many as 5,000 employees. The layoffs had been widely anticipated. In announcing AOL's strategy shift Wednesday, Time Warner said it expected to spend $250 million to $350 million through 2007 to implement the changes, about half of that for employee severance. The company did not say where the job cuts will take place, adding that most of the individual employees likely will be notified in late September or early October.

News Buzz: AOL Freebies Won't Guarantee Success

[From time to time, I can't help noticing some big buzz out there in the world, I told myself, I'd better make a note of it, otherwise I'll forget...] So this time, AOL announced on Wednesday that virtually all of the remaining content and services reserved for paying subscribers will be free. But some industry observers aren't sure AOL's metamorphoses will yield the desired results. Despite the loud display of support from top-level executives for the announcement, nothing can erase the truth that the plan is reactive and years overdue...
